Teach Us to Number Our Days

Pulpit & Pew Finances

Pulpit & Pew Finances is a consulting faith ministry of our church, conducted by Richard McMillen.
This ministry of “helps” is concerned that all churches maintain finances in a decent and orderly way offering a review of systems, a look at methods of accounting, payroll and compliance filings, compensation packages, and provides recommendations as appropriate.
In addition, full day seminars are offered for church families to teach Biblical financial principles, because many families:
  • Know little about finances
  • Totally unaware of what the Bible says about money
  • Spend more than they make
  • Let others set their standard of living
  • Failure to tithe
  • Financial stress – arguments/divorce
Both practical financial concepts and Bible counsel are presented in these informative seminars.
Individual consults are also possible for families with some specific financial questions.
Additionally, at the desire and allowance of each church’s pastor, we are able to preach stewardship messages, coupled with a winsome evangelistic appeal.
